Asian Development Bank (ADB) Workshop on Special Economic Zones (SEZs) as Drivers of Economic Corridors and Value Chains

30 July to 1 August 2025 — CIMT was honoured to take part in the Workshop on “Special Economic Zones (SEZs) as Drivers of Economic Corridors and Value Chains,” co-organised by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Indonesia’s Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs.

The workshop brought together stakeholders from IMT-GT, BIMP-EAGA, and GMS to explore the evolving role of SEZs in regional integration, value chain development, and economic resilience. CIMT reaffirmed its commitment to cross-border collaboration and strengthening the role of economic corridors in advancing inclusive, sustainable growth.

Together, we’re shaping corridors of connectivity and opportunity across the subregion and beyond.
